Intro to Arm Balances & Inversions Workshop with Jimmy Wheeler
Learn to Go Upside Down — Safely, Strongly, and with Confidence
This workshop is designed to give students the tools, techniques, and awareness to approach arm balances and inversions in a way that feels supported, intelligent, and empowering — not intimidating. Through intelligent warm-ups, clear alignment principles, and progressive strength-building, you’ll learn how balance, stability, and breath work together to create sustainable and confident flight.

Inversions & Handstand Foundations
We’ll explore the building blocks for going upside down with safety and control, including:
• Handstand
• Forearm Stand (Pincha Mayurasana)
You’ll learn proper stacking and alignment, how to enter and exit safely, and how to work with fear and hesitation so inversions become a practice of presence, not pressure.

Arm Balance Pathways
We’ll break down strength, lift, and weight transfer through progressive drills and techniques for:
• Crow Pose
• Flying Crow
• Hurdlers
These pathways focus on building trust in your body, understanding leverage and balance, and developing the confidence to explore new shapes with clarity and control.
