Handstand Fundamentals Workshop with Marsha Oldenburger

You do not need to know how to do a handstand to show up to this. That is kind of the whole point.

Marsha Oldenburger leads this two-hour workshop as a real starting point, the kind that actually gives you something to build on. Through targeted warm-up, strength and mobility work, and guided wall-supported drills, you will build the foundation that inversions actually require: strength, alignment awareness, and the nervous system confidence to explore being upside down without panicking.

You will leave with practical tools and a take-home practice you can keep working with long after the workshop ends.

Space is limited to 12 to 20 students. Pre-registration required.

What you will work on:

  • Targeted warm-up for wrists, shoulders, and core

  • Strength and mobility work specific to handstand prep

  • Alignment cues that translate directly into your regular practice

  • Wall-supported drills at a pace that works for your body

  • A take-home regimen to keep building on your own

Who this is for: All levels. Whether you have never kicked up before or you have been trying for years and feel stuck, this workshop meets you where you are.

  • Yoga mat

  • Blankets and bolsters available for use at the studio if needed

  • Yoga mats, towels, and water available to rent or purchase at Zuda
